As the social media world continues to be flooded with apps, ads, and content; it is important for marketers to stay ahead of their competition in the digital world. Marketers must focus on creating mobile-friendly content that will be easily accessible on all mobile devices. According to a comScore report from 2015, smartphone and tablet usage accounted for 60% of all digital media time spent. Businesses can take advantage of this opportunity by creating mobile apps and mobile friendly websites that will highlight and enhance their products. Mobile apps have the ability to take users to a whole new level compared to the standard print capabilities of the past. By creating mobile friendly content, businesses can more effectively reach, engage, and communicate with their audience.
WordPress offers several mobile-friendly themes. However we often find these tweaks and adjustments are needed on individual pages to display correctly. We may need to organize the content a page differently or move an image to accommodate both desktop and mobile devices. Gathering Waters includes testing of sites on phones and tablets as part of our development process. This often means reworking a page’s appearance and/or coding so its appearance is acceptable in all formats.
